The Governors of St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic, and capable Site Supervisor from the local community. The site Supervisor is a vital member of the team, responsible for providing a well-managed, clean and safe environment in which pupils and staff can work successfully.
Do you have:
A confident and friendly approach
Strong DIY skills with the ability to carry out minor maintenance and repairs competently
An awareness of Health and Safety
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload
Good communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships
The ability to work on your own initiative and problem solve in a methodical and efficient manner
Willingness to undertake training as required for the role
A commitment to maintaining our school in a safe, clean, tidy and hygienic condition
The successful applicant must have good practical maintenance skills to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance, as well as being responsible for the efficient running of the site including site security maintenance, cleaning, outside areas and health and safety.
The Site Supervisor will be expected to contribute to the smoother running of the school.
The role is for 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with leave entitlement of 21 days to be taken during the school holidays where possible.
Typical working pattern: Monday to Friday split shift: 7:30am until 11:00am and 2:30pm until 6pm. Options of hours can be discussed with the successful candidate.
The post will be subject to a 6-month probationary period.
