The health and well-being of our community continues to be a priority St Teresa’s. Although restrictions have eased, we will be continuing with some of the safety measures that were in place before the summer holidays in the short term and while Covid rates remain high locally.

  • Face coverings are no longer required for staff or visitors.  However, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask at pick off and drop off or where distancing cannot be maintained please feel free to do so. We will respect your decision and in return appreciate the respect you will offer to staff who will continue to wear a face covering.
  • One-way system in and around the school site will remain.
  • Limit visits to school office, using email or making contact by phone where necessary.
  • Regular handwashing, cleaning regimes, and classrooms will continue to be ventilated.
  • If your child is identified as a close contact, they will not need to self-isolate, but will be asked to take PCR test.
  • Attendance, from September, is statutory and your child must attend school every day, unless they are unwell. It is important, that we have a sensible approach to illness and that children are kept at home and take a PCR test if they are unwell. Lateral flow tests should only be used if asymptomatic.
  • Plans and additional measures are in place, ready to be reintroduced for a limited period, if needed.

PE will start in the second week and information on class PE days will be sent out via the APP next week.

On PE days, children should come to school wearing their PE kit. Please note, this is the only day on which children should wear trainers to school.

Breakfast Club operates 7.45 - 8:45am and After School Club from the end of the school day until 5:30pm. Please enquire with the school office for availability and booking.

Breakfast Club is £4.00 per session, After School Club is £6.95 per session. Breakfast and After School Club is accessed through the Nursery entrance.

We can’t wait to get back and start the new term, but are mindful that as a community we continue to face a number of challenges as restrictions and measures ease in society. By working together, I know we will overcome any difficulties that come our way, building back stronger and keeping the St Teresa’s family as safe as we possibly can.
