Did you know that in the 1950's that children could only watch TV in black and white? Aspen Class were very concerned to discover that the programmes were on a set time, and if you weren't at home that you couldn't record it. They couldn't believe that some people did not have a television in their homes.

Aspen had an amazing Arty Party Day. It was so lovely to have time for everyone to become engrossed in creativity; blocks, painting with scissors, badge making and experimental painting.
The children were full of excitement, sharing their holiday news with friends. What amazing writers we are becoming.
Our classroom is all ready to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this week. The children helped to create decorations, as well as a very special visitor.
