Autumn 1

Inspired by.....

Do you know how old Marcus Rashford was when he signed for Manchester United Academy?

Aspen Class have been inspired by the acts of kindness performed by Marcus Rashford, as well as his impressive football skills. Ask your child to find out about knuckleball freekicks and more...

Incy Wincy Spider

We have been busy using different techniques with paint this week to create the hairy legs that we'd noticed when we'd observed Spiders. We even added spiders to the white shirt on our class pumpkin.

We're going on a squirrel hunt!

It's all about the squirrels right now! Spotting a squirrel was so exciting, but how could we take a closer look? Watching a clip showcasing their amazing climbing skills inspired some of Aspen Class to make a squirrel trap, so that we can observe a squirrel closely.

Patterns everywhere!

We have an action to help us remember that a pattern means the same thing over and over again. We have used lots of different objects to make repeating patterns.

And just like that Aspen class have completed their first full week at school! Friday meant some very tired, little children.
