Spring 2

On Tuesday, Reception and their buddies went round the Stations of the Cross. They stopped at each one and shared the messages, taking time to write or draw their responses.

Reception children made Easter Bonnets for our Easter Extravaganza.  Thank you for supporting your child in creating such amazing bonnets. They all looked fabulous!
On Wednesday 21st March, Reception enjoyed their mile walk for Brian House. We raised a grand total of £80. Thank you to everyone for your kind donations.

Hatching chicks

Beech class have had an exciting fortnight watching chicks hatch. We have enjoyed first hand experiences of feeding them, holding them and watching them running around the carpet area. Have a look at our pictures below.

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day with a special assembly for our Mum and Grandmas on Friday 9th March.

This week we read the story The Little Red Hen and talked about how wheat was turned into flour in a mill. On Tuesday we had a great time with our parents and grandparents who joined in with our book week activity and helped us make windmills. Although it was a bit tricky to start with, we all tried to make the sails of our windmill move round. As always we made some amazing models. Have a look at our wonderful creations below.
