Reception have taken part in a "Hatching4School" program where we have been lucky enough to have some eggs in our classroom that have hatched into chicks.
The children, and staff, have had a wonderful couple of weeks watching the chicks hatching out of the eggs and growing into cute, fluffy chicks. The children have been able to hold the chicks and have been involved in caring for them during their time in school.
We were all sad to see the chicks go but, they were growing big and need the space to run and flap around that they can get back on the farm.
Family Science Morning
Last Friday, Reception children and their families had a very exciting morning in school investigating forces, using everyday items found in the home.
They made helicopters, aeroplanes, balloon rockets. Have a look at our photographs below
