A WARM WELCOME BACK TO ASPEN CLASS

It has felt a long time coming, but all good things are worth waiting for! We cannot express how pleased we are to welcome you back to school and are looking forward to all of the teaching and learning that awaits.

We will be kicking off with our class story, The Explorer, that shall weave through much of the learning that will take place both in writing lessons and throughout the topic: Explorers. An exciting adventure awaits.

CALLING ALL PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS

Have you ever wondered how attending a football match can affect the environment? Well, children in class, Kian and Finley, have estimated that if every Liverpool fan who attended a weekly match drank a coffee from a plastic cup for the whole season, that would amount to over 2 million cups being used! Frightening.

As part of our work around being stewards of God's earthly kingdom, children have written letters to some of the Premier League's top clubs, urging them to do more to reduce, recycle and re-use - all in an effort to slow down the effects of pollution and climate change. Watch this space for any replies...

REPORTS ARE COMING IN OF A PLANE CRASH IN AN UNDISCLOSED PART OF THE AMAZON RAINFOREST

Children have discovered the first pivotal event in our class story - a crash involving five children that has left them lost in the Amazon Rainforest. Will they emerge from the depths? Will they be left to survive their alone?
