The day is nearly here and just wanted to let you know of final arrangements and remind you of points raised at the PGL meeting in the Summer Term.
Children need to arrive at school at normal time tomorrow wearing clothes suitable for outdoor activities and with all there luggage. We will departing from school at 10am. Anybody who wishes to come and wave their child off is welcome to do so. We understand if you are unable to or think that this is not best for your child.
If your child is on packed lunch they do not need to bring a packed lunch. Lunch will be provided on site to start off the adventure.
Please make sure that your children's items are all named clearly. Whilst we will endevour to ensure that items are not lost or mislaid it certainly helps for all item to be clearly labelled. It is likely that at some point during the weekend your children are going to get wet. Rain is forecast and the children will be having outdoor adventures. With this in mind please make sure that children have enough socks and be mindful that they may return with muddy items on Sunday. Please check the kit list to ensure that your child has appropriate outdoor clothing and clothing to change into indoors. The disco is on Saturday night - bring party clothes!
All medication or any additional information must be made available to school prior to the visit. No medication without consent can be administered.
A maximum of £5 spending money is suggested and the children are responsible for looking after their own money. There are limited items that the children can possibly buy at PGL and have one visit to the on-site shop over the weekend. The children may bring a small treat to share with their friends on Friday night.
Room allocation have been made and take clearly into account all aspects: information school has about your child, friendships and suitability to make sure that everybody has a good time.
We will be departing from Winmarleigh following lunch on Sunday and expect time of arrival back at school is 2pm. We will keep you updated throughout the weekend with texts and information as and when appropriate. The school website page is being updated with this information and internet/time allowing Mrs Daly will try her best to upload pictures over the visit time.

We are pleased to be able to offer all year 5 children the opportunity to take part in a school trip to Winmarleigh Hall in Lancashire.
The trip will be led by Ann Daly and organised through PGL Travel Ltd.
