Parent Forum

Parent Forum - Reception, Years 1, 2 and 3

What we are about:

Open communication and consultation with parents is important to us at St. Teresa’s Catholic Primary school. The parent forum helps to provide an opportunity for parents and staff to discuss issues of mutual interest, to promote new ideas, to offer parent’s view on current policies and practice and to improve communication between parents and the school.

The forum is not in place to address specific concerns about an individual child or issues relating to individual members of staff. Parents who need to discuss these issues should make an appointment to with the class teacher or senior leadership team.

Aims and Purpose

To support and promote children’s learning

To help school find out what parents/carers think about important issues

To involve parents/carers in school decisions

To make plans to support the school to develop and improve outcomes for children.

Reception, Years 1, 2, 3 forum is made up of parents/carers of children attending St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School. We aim to have two or three representatives per year group.  Staff and a member of the Senior Leadership Team will also be present at meeting. Plus, when possible, a governor.
